Song #26 – Rania’s Unreal

Rania's Unreal - Ryk John Miller Thekreator

(a)
things about
around the city
just didn’t seem quite right.
trees in the wind
they did sway
mechanical creaks at night.

(b)
in forests where
the streams should flow
pictured fish which didn’t swim.
pebbles off would bounce
like rocks that were so light
it seemed so reality thin.

(7.4)
Life is like a painting
That has ever such appeal
But stronger is the thought
That Rania’s unreal.

(c)
the initial ease
for those that came
their excitement replaced by bore.
the lively old Earth
with which that they grew
protesting unrest could be prelude to war.

(d)
Delte Nein
could not comprehend
the details in which it had lapsed.
then it realized
as a childish Trelane
thought only the humans would be happy.

(7.4)
Life is like a painting
But Rania’s unreal
Lacking it’s substance
Of five sense’s appeal.

(e)
for all those that Delte Nein saved
it must replicate where they grew
were time travel possible
to bring back all that they knew?
what else all could that affect?
could the Beings be aware?
were they even needed?
for life they were unfair.

(7.4)
Life creates the painting
As Rania is unreal
The constant Beings prefer
To which it shall not kneel.

Music written by: Ryk John Miller Thekreator – Oct. 0314
(The music was written and recorded in about 3 1/2 hours! :D  I wrote the bass guitar verse and chorus portions, literally, as soon as my fingers hit the strings of the bass guitar.  About 15-20 minutes to practice and refine them.  The break bass line came almost as quickly.)

Equipment used:

– Arturia – Microbrute
– Bass guitar through a Boss BR-600 for distortion and delay
– Bolasol – Werkbench on i-Pad
– Korg – ESX-1SD
– Nord – Lead 2X
